Shaun jumped out of the way, getting hit in the hip instead as he was pushed back a bit. He smirked at her and aimed the knife at her, quickly tugging and slashing at her arm, hoping to get her to let up a little.
"I don't wanna break you too soon." he whispered.

Rosetta didn't let up, bowing her torso backward to avoid the blade as she tightened her grip further. What a monster. Break me? Good luck. Marcus had been trying for twenty-four years, the men in the Army has she had climbed rank above them had tried, multiple times her group had been captured and under fire by men that had tried, and she hadn't broken. Not once. Not at all.
"You should drop that, before you get hurt."

Shaun smirked at her and he continued to wrestle with her, slashing and kicking at her.
"You should just give up." he whispered. "I've been doing this for years, how long do you think you can keep up?"

Rosetta wasn't going to try to talk to him. He was clearly unreachable, so she took the next best route. When he put his weight forward to kick her, she immediately let go of his wrist and rolled toward her jacket. She was hoping he'd fall against the wall, and be disoriented. She dove toward the leather, but she was just an inch short. Come on, come on! She reached, feeling the chains stretch the skin around her wrists.

Shaun did stumble forward as she let him go and he groaned in frustration. He saw what she was reaching for and he smirked, grabbing the chain and yanking as hard as he could trying to pull her back towards him.

Her fingers had just barely grasped the handle of the knife when the chain was pulled, and she cried out in surprise. She grabbed the metal with one hand and used the force to pull herself up, her other hand taking the blade and slashing at the fingers he had around the chain. If he didn't intend to let her leave alive, she didn't intend to leave without him dead.

Shaun barely let go of the chain in time as he saw the knife, but in that time he tackled her. He was so pumped and full of adrenaline all he saw was red. He used his own knife to slash at her, excited from the fighting.

Rosetta wasn't steady enough to prevent the tackle. She went down hard, knocking her head against the cement, watching her knife skitter out of her hand. She grabbed his shoulders when he fell on her, but she couldn't push him off in time to avoid the blade, feeling it sink it near her ribcage. She was so full of adrenaline she barely registered it, just a burn as she let go of his shoulders to punch him in the throat.

Shaun was too wrapped up in her that he didn't see the punch coming. He choked and gasped for air as he scrambled off of her to avoid another blow. He sat on his bottom, watching her breathlessly. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't hard right now. Thank god for jeans.

Rosetta scrambled away from him, grabbing the knife as her blood fell in droplets along her path. She sat back against the wall, wincing slightly. She expected there to be more blood, but she realized she'd have to send Marcus a thank you card later, as Shaun had stabbed an area thick with scar tissue. She held tightly onto her knife this time, pressing her shirt into her wound to try to stop the light bleeding. Her eyes were dark, but oddly calm, watching him carefully.

Shaun would have to figure out a way to get the knife away from her later, but for now she could keep it. He eventually stood up and moved over to Jacob, caressing his face tenderly. The man jumped from his touch, whimpering softly.
"Please...no...no.." he whispered.

Shaun rolled his eyes, he hated it when they begged, and they begged all the time. He moved to the table and he grabbed the spiked dildo before he pulled Jacob's pants down and jammed it into his tight little asshole, savoring the sounds of his scream. After a moment he moved to the side and kicked at the handle repeatedly until it broke off, leaving the toy stuck. That would handle his frustrations for now.

Rosetta had been forced to watch people be tortured in front of her before. It had happened in Iraq, when she and a teammate had been separated from the main spotting group. They had been trained never to leave a teammate behind, to always rescue your brother or sister in arms. But in the field, the soldiers knew it didn't work like that. They had all told someone to leave them, not to play a hero, to worry about their own life first. She looked away from the scene, her heart rate speeding up as the interaction went on. If she said anything, she knew Shaun would make it even worse on the man thinking that it would get to her. So she burrowed, into a hollow that was cold and removed, staring up at Shaun when he stood.
I'll make you suffer.

What the fuck is wrong with her... Shaun thought to himself as his eyes locked to Rosetta's as he continued to kick at the man's ass, jamming the toy further and further into his rectum. She wasn't helping his situation. He'd need to take something....now.

He grabbed his knife and pinched Jacob's lips between his fingers, fighting against the man squirming.
"If you don't hold still, it's going to hurt times two hundred." He said, his voice very calm. Jacob at the fullest lips, his square jawline making the feature stand out even more. He had even kissed those lips, and they were as soft as they looked. Before he cut into the flesh he placed an almost gentle kiss on them before he drove the knife just below the tender skin. He began to saw, stretching the muscles. Jacob couldn't take the pain anymore and his body fell limp against the chains, and this allowed Shaun to work more careful, treating the piece of tissue with a twisted sense of kindness.

Just go into shock. Please, just pass out.
Rosetta didn't show any emotion when Shaun began cutting, but inside she was so relieved when Jacob went limp. Nothing hurt in unconsciousness. More importantly, she began to study Shaun. If she could understand how he ticked, how he worked, she had a much better chance at surviving. She already knew he was reckless, a complete psychopath, sadistic, with no remorse. Begging wouldn't work, not that she ever planned on doing that anyway. She watched as Jacob's lips came free, seeing how Shaun was handling them. For a moment she wondered if Marcus had hired this man. Marcus liked things smooth. Shaun was a major risk. For one, he had taken her in public. For two, he was leaving DNA and evidence all around his work space. But who else would kidnap her? Why? It didn't make any sense.

It took a bit, but Shaun managed to get the lips free before he set them inside an empty mason jar. He began to fill it with embalming fluid. He moved to the end of the container before turning on the light just next to the shelving. Nearly fifty jars littered the shelves, housing different body parts Shaun had collected over the years. He could remember each one like they were yesterday, a sense of nostalgia filling him.

Now his current problem was figuring out what he wanted from Rosetta.

When he lit up the display, Rosetta knew the answer to her question. This wasn't one of Marcus's men at all. Instead she was being preyed on something probably much more dangerous. She hadn't been in the states very long, so she hadn't heard about the serial killer that was terrorizing New York. She took a moment to look at the jars, seeing eyes, ears, were those...
"Are those vocal chords?" She found herself asking out loud, just so genuinely shocked.

Shaun raised an eyebrow when he heard Rosetta speak and he looked at the jar. He took it off the shelf and he walked it over to her, kneeling down just a bit out of reach.
"Sarah Jones, she used to sing down at Black Bear." he said, a small smile on his lips. "She had...the most beautiful voice, a little raspy, but that's what made it so...captivating."

43 Re: The Nuthouse on Wed Nov 23, 2016 11:39 pm

Rosetta backed up when he walked closer, brandishing her knife. When he stopped out of reach she didn't relax, watching him carefully.
"I didn't ask for the story." She told him coldly. There had to be...Jesus, there were so many jars. Did he remember every single one?

Shaun smirked at her.
"In a way you kinda did." he whispered, standing straight. He went back to the shelf and he placed it back in its proper place eyeing the others. Maybe Rosetta could be his first full bodied collection.

Rosetta scoffed when he spoke. When he stood she looked down at her wound, seeing the blood had clotted. She carefully removed the piece of fabric she had put in it, and it didn't leak, which was a good sign. She looked over at Jacob, grateful he was still sleeping, before looking at the tool wall. How had she not even seen that? She could have gone after the screwdriver and got him in the eye early on.

Shaun turned to face Rosetta, leaning against the table as he just watched her. She was so beautiful, she was tough, so why couldn't he figure out what it was he wanted? He was growing frustrated, but he was torn from his thoughts when he heard Jacob begin to grown. Jesus, this guy was tough too the way he kept going in and out too bad he was a bitch.

He took the knife and he moved behind him before he slit his throat. Done with this particular toy.

In a way Rosetta was glad that Shaun killed Jacob. She had been apprehensive when he had approached Jacob, wondering what more he could possibly do to the man, before he dragged the blade over Jacob's neck.
"How long had he been here?" She asked Shaun, her eyes meeting his. She had learned long ago that looking men right in the eye did something to them. She wasn't submissive, she didn't think she was less than he was. She wanted to get under his skin and unnerve him, to make him slip up. Just one moment of weakness was all she needed to strike.

Shaun held Jacob as he slowly died, and eventually he fell limp for the final time. He eyed Rosetta as she spoke.
"A little over a week." he mumbled. He was a good one, he'd be one of the few he let be found. He deserved that much.

49 Re: The Nuthouse on Wed Nov 23, 2016 11:59 pm

Rosetta considered this, but she didn't let her outward appearance show it. Instead she nodded to him. A little over a week...why? Jacob had looked to be in such rough shape. Shaun could clearly, easily, torture a person, kill them, and get another person in a matter of days.
"How many people have been here?" She asked.

Shaun raised an eyebrow at her, why was she so curious?
"Including you? Almost sixty." he mumbled letting Jacob down easily on to the floor. He took a large plastic sheet and began to wrap him up. "You're fifty-seven."
