Aeris Kills Cloud (Maybe)

"Get out before I kill you myself! Track her down, and kill her, I don't give a fuck what we did to her!" He shouted. "You forgot? You want more fuckin' kids running around...Jesus."

Cloud raised his eyebrows.
"I don't even have kids, Bruce...think you're thinking of Murphey or some shit."

Bruce scoffed.
"You've raped a few in your day, one ended up pregnant." He snapped, annoyed. How could the retard not think that could happen?

Cloud raised his eyebrows.
"Which one was that?" He asked.

"Didn't I give you a job to do?" Bruce asked him, but then he thought about it. Julia had worried Cloud would take it badly but he didn't seem angry. "Julia. Had a girl, think she named it Emma. Congratulations."

"Right..." Cloud scoffed. Julia?! Had his fucking baby? No way, she slept around, probably wasn't even his kid. "I'll go find the girl..."

He left the office, making his way to his own. He booted up his computer and sent Shaun a message requesting help.

Rosetta untangled herself from Shaun's limbs when she heard his phone go off.
"Shaunie, it's eight in the morning." She complained, still naked from the night before.

Shaun groaned slightly, rolling over and reaching for his phone. He saw the message from Cloud and rubbed his face.
"This shithead..." He mumbled.

S: Usual price, what's the job?

C: Need to find a girl, don't know her name, blonde, blue eyes, kinda asian looking. Her entire family died.

S: That is not alot to go on...

C: Just names, give me a list.

S: Fucking jackass...

C: You loooove meeee, thanks again Shaun.

"Who was it?" Rosetta asked, not in a snooping way
"Do you have to go?" She asked, her head on his shoulder.

Shaun got out of bed and pulled on his boxers, shaking his head.
"Nah, just a job...that's going to take fucking forever..." he mumbled. "My leet hacker skills pay the bills, haha."

Rosetta stretched lazily, admiring Shauns ass as he pulled up his boxers.
"Come back to bed when you're done." She smiled wickedly.

It did take Shaun a long time to find her, specifically three years. She had covered her tracks very well, even legally changing her name. She died her hair brown, wore green colored contacts, and wore wedges in her shoes to make herself appear taller.

That morning she was taking her cranky toddler to see the doctor, buttoning his overalls as he fussed.
"Sora, it's okay." She told him, tickling his side.
She put the diaper bag over her shoulder and buckled him into his car seat, draping a blanket over top so he wouldn't be exposed to the wind before leaving her home on foot.

Shaun sent all the information he could on Aeris even found a small lead when her name changed. Cloud followed the lead, coming up to a house. He watched a woman leave with a toddler, not believing it was her. It could have been a two family housefor all he knew., but it did seem small...

Once she was out of site, Cloud exited his car and made his way to the building, forcing his way inside.

The house was a ranch style home. It was a little on the small side, but then again only Aeris and Sora lived there. There were pictures of Sora on the fridge, in the baby pool out back, on the slide. He was the spitting image of Cloud already right down his eye color.

Aeris's room was down the hall. She had no documentation of her former name, but there were weapons securely hidden in the closet. Sora's room had a crib and a rocking chair with the usual baby stuff.

Cloud moved around the house, careful not to disturb anything. It was only the woman and her child living here, and he noticed the photos. Cloud looked closely, seeing himself in the boy. He cursed under his breath. "Fucking hell..."

It didn't matter, he had a job to do. He continued to search through the house, moving to Aeris' bedroom discovering a locked portion of the cabinet. Weapons, he thought, or money.

Aeris had gotten cold drops for Sora and the baby was feeling better after the visit. She returned home, shutting the door behind her and taking off her shoes. She unbuckled Sora and carried him to the kitchen, rummaging in the cupboard.
"Do you want applesauce?" She asked him.
"Yes!"

Cloud heard voices and he peaked out the door. He saw her and the boy, and frowned. Shit...
He quietly moved out of the bedroom and he readied his gun. He aimed at her and fired.

Aeris heard the pop and felt the pain explode in her shoulder as the bullet pierced her, almost dropping Sora. She set the wailing baby down and scrambled for the bread box, removing her gun. She aimed and fired at Cloud, pulling the trigger multiple times.

She got Cloud in the arm and he wuickly moved to hide behind the wall. He heard the baby crying, gritting his teeth. He quickly peaked his head out and fired a few more shots at Aeris.

Aeris dodged, moving behind the counter. She immediately called 911 and left the phone on so that they could trace it. She lifted Sora, smoothing his hair.
"I'll let you take me if you leave my baby alone." She called to Cloud. She knew it had to be him. She hadn't wanted to be a mother, had almost gone through with an adoption, but when they placed Sora on her chest she thought of the first time she held Yuffie. She didn't want her son to die, she would gladly sacrifice herself. Sora was adorable and loving, a nicer, better mom would adopt him.

Cloud raised his eyebrows and he cursed under his breath.
"Of course..." He said. I'm not a fucjing baby killer. You come to me, I won't kill you in front of your baby..."

Aeris stood with Sora cautiously, moving to set him in his car seat. She tucked his favorite soft toy rocket ship in to the side of the seat and turned him to face the TV. Once he had settled down while watching Rugrats, she moved to Cloud, leading him back into her room.
"The firestation here doesn't ask questions, it's a safe harbor." She said softly. "You can leave him there and they'll find him a family."

Cloud watched her, keeping his gun ready. He moved after her, closing the door. He gripped her shoulder and forced her to sit down. He aimed his gunnright at her head.
"Alright..." He said. "Your baby will be safe...I promise..."

Aeris nodded, looking up into his eyes.
"Don't keep him." She whispered, tears welling. She didn't let them fall. He must have figured out Sora's was his. It had been years since Bruce had issued the order to kill her, would Cloud really have tried so hard if it wasn't for Sora? "Don't let him be like us."

Cloud raised his eyebrows and he looked her over. He didn't have any intentions on keeping the brat, it would have been a horrible idea.
"He won't." He whispered. "I'm sorry..."

With his last word he fired the gun.

Aeris fell back onto the bed, blood pooling against the bedspread, her eyes open and staring at the ceiling.
