"They offered me a job." Shaun explained. "Apparently my CO appealed for me."

Shaun's fingers went over her cheek tenderly, as he watched her. This would be the time to go their separate ways, he could go straight, Rosetta could build the life she deserved, but then why did he feel sad?
"Would you...come with me?" he whispered.

Rosetta didn't think about it, almost cut him off as soon as she knew the question.
"Yes." She whispered, her eyes looking into his. "I would go with you." She was just so damned happy with Shaun. He made her feel good about herself, he made her laugh. She could have the worst day and see him and it would instantly be a good day.

Shaun couldn't help but smile and he leaned in to kiss her softly. His hands idly traveled down her sides, gripping on to her hips as he pulled her close against him.
