Rosetta's hips rose up against him as she flexed her muscles, shaking as he began to move. She felt like she had grabbed a hold of a live electric fence. She moved her hands down until they cupped his rear, pushing him down as she rose up and grinding up against up him as he moved, a moan leaving her throat as the angle caused him to move right against her clit. Two months later

Rosetta had moved South with Shaun. She made sure Desmond was all set up and introduced him to her childhood friend, Eliza, who promised to check on him often. Rosetta thought Shaun was perfect. On days he was off they would spend their free time having sex, going out, laughing, watching movies. Things couldn't have gotten better, really. That morning she was in bed, all comfortable and curled up.

Shaun chuckled softly and he shook his head at her.
"You don't know the half of it." He whispered. He kissed her softly once more, unable to help himself.

Amon had been involved in the investigation ever since he got out of the hospital. He remained on active duty, using whatever time he could to comb over every single piece of information. The only connection they had was Amalia, and she worked on Blackwater...so Amon started there.

It took him months to find what brought her to the country, an encrypted message on her laptop giving her a date and location. The source of the message was a deadend, whoever sent it probably used a proxy server. It wasn't until Lieutenant Doyle brought in intel on who she worked with on a regular basis. She only worked with the Murphy Brothers regular and on that day they were seen in Kirkuk with...

"Are you sure?" Amon asked Doyle.

"Image is blurred to shit, but we're eighty five percent sure we can get a match." He said. "Surveillance shows he landed just outside the Iraqi boarder and took a bus into Kirkuk. They met him which pins him as the head of the operation."

Amon dismissed Doyle and he quickly grabbed his phone, calling Rosetta.

Rosetta yawned when she heard her phone go off, reaching for it. When she saw it was Amon she sighed. She hadn't really talked to him since he had kissed her and then did whatever with Tifa afterward.
"Hey Sanders." She said after answering it.

"Rose, good...listen I need To see you. It's urgent." Amon said. "Where are you?"

Shaun stirred when he heard the phone and he rolled ovef to wrap his arm around Rosetta. He kissed her neck teasingly. "Tell him you're busy..."

Rosetta couldn't help but to giggle, trying to cover the phone.
"Shh." She said to Shaun. "Amon, I'm kind of busy right now." She told him.

Amon could hear Shaun in the background and his stomach twisted.
"Thomas, it's about the attack. We have a lead." He finally said.

Rosetta stopped laughing, hearing what Amon said. She sat up in bed, actually listening now.
"What is it?" She asked.

Amon shook his head.
"This is a conversation to have in person." He said. "I'm at Quantico Base. I'll give you all the necessary clearances."

Rosetta sighed, hanging up. She got out of bed and headed toward the closet, looking for her fatigues.
"Amon said he found a lead on the group that attacked our convoy. I'm supposed to go meet him."

Shaun looked up at Rosetta and he felt a lump forming in his throat. No way, he covered all of his tracks. It couldn't be him, maybe someone else.
"Shit...you want me to come with you?" He asked.

Rosetta shook her head, moving over to him and kissing him tenderly before hugging him tight.
"It's okay. We'll do something fun tonight. I won't go rogue, I promise, but you're probably going to need to distract me." She smiled slightly.

Ten minutes later she was on the road. She arrived at Quantico a short while later, and asked to see Amon. She was led to him and she gave him a half wave.
"What's up?"

Shaun nodded, but he prepared for the worst case scenario. He readied some bags, stuffing them into the crawlspace. Now all he had to do was wait.

"Hey..." Amon said. He wanted to go in for the hug, but considering they haven't spoken in so long...well it'd be awkward. "Sit down... There's a lot to go over."

He handed her the envelope on the desk, inside were Amalia's Blackwater credentials, and the Murphy Brother's Navy credentials complete with photos and any public known information. "You'll recognize Amalia, but the two men, Joel and Brody are her known assotiates. These guys were top notch soldiers, they were also explosive experts. The bombs used in the attack are their own creation. They leave hardly any trace, and they're hard to track down, except they weren't lucky. The building Desmond was found in was rigged to blow leaving us all boxed in, but it failed to detonate. That's how we learned the Murphy's were involved."

Rosetta didn't go for the hug either, sitting down across from him. She picked up the photographs, looking them over.
"Have you found them? Arrested them? Please don't tell me you called me down here just to tell me you have names."

Amon nodded moving to lean on the edge of the desk.
"We have Joel in custody. We're still tracking down Brody." He said reaching for another picture. "This one though...well...he's the main reason why I called."

He handed her the photograph, a low resolution picture of Shaun in the airport, making his way towards the bus station. It was hard to tell given the quality, but the mane of red hair was undeniable. "He's the glue pinning all of them together. Once he landed...the others followed."

Rosetta picked up the last picture as Amon spoke, sighing. She was annoyed. Who was it, and why didn't he just fucking tell her? What, was she supposed to know some random terrorist? But then Amon's words were just fog, like a humming in her ears as she recognized the hair, the build. She shook her head, putting the picture down like she had been burned.
"He was on a business trip." She snapped. "Is this some sort of a joke? Like what you're mad that I haven't called? You kissed me and then banged some chick not even an hour later and now you want to try to fuck up any happiness I have cause you're bitter."

Amon sighed and he shook his head. He didn't want to do this to her, knowing how hard it must be. He didn't show any emotion at the jab towards what he did, instead he gathered papers and handed then to her. They detailed Shaun's travel history.
"Shaun Corbin Barrett landed in Turkey at nine twenty-one AM. He took a bus into Kirkuk. Now explain to me why a suspended Staff Sergeant would travel to war torn countries for the past several months?"

Rosetta shook her head, the entire time he was speaking she was shaking her head. She couldn't answer that because she didn't know why. She thought of all of the trips, the assassination of the Egyptian monarch, the convoy attack, the attack in Turkey. All while he had been gone. He had been there with Desmond overseas when she woke up. The photograph shook in her fingers as tears began to roll down her cheeks. She was in love with him. She had shared a bed with him, a home. He was her entire reason for happiness.
