Shaun x Rosetta...this is gunna be a rollercoaster bwahahaha

Amon shrugged his shoulders. He didn't know hwo to help Rosetta.
"Well, if that's what you want to do..." He said. "I'm gunna head to sleep, goodnight."

Rosetta didn't know what happened between her and Amon. They went from inseparable and able to tell each other anything to complete strangers. She felt completely alone. Maybe that was partially why she wanted to keep the baby. She hadn't even known she was pregnant until after she left Shaun, and when she had found out she couldn't just get rid of it. She didn't even know if she'd ever be able to have children, and after so many months of unprotected sex with no consequences she assumed it was just impossible. But then she had missed a period, and started feeling sick. And by that time she felt like it was too late to even contact Shaun.

She curled up on the bed with Loki and cried, petting the dalmatian.
"You're my best friend Loki."

Loki nuzzled into Rosetta, licking her hand affectionately.

A couple of days later, Shaun called Rosetta from the hospital.

Rosetta heard her phone buzz while she was out viewing apartments, and she didn't recognize the number. She answered curiously.
"Hello?"

Shaun nearly lost his nerve when he heard her voice.
"H-hey..." He mumbled. "Uhm, you got a second?@

Rosetta felt emotions close up her throat for a moment when she heard the familiar southern twang.
"Yeah. I do." She said softly. For you I have forever. "What's up?"

Shaun fidgeted slightly, glancing around him. He never felt so confined or watched before, but it had to be better than going to prison for the rest of his life.
"I...I'm calling from Mount Hope..." he started. "I'm going to stay here for a while. My doctor says it'll be good for me to reach out to anyone who might...want to see me...but you're the only person I can think of besides Desmond."

Rosetta looked at the realtor, no longer listening to the features of the kitchen.
"Excuse me." She told her, stepping out. "Mount Hope?" She spoke to Shaun, her brow furrowed. Why did that sound familiar? "Oh." She said softly, remembering the treatment facility. Some of her squad members had stayed there. "Of course. I can come down right now if you need me."

Shaun shook his head.
"N-no...you don't have to if you're busy or anything." he mumbled, but he was lying. He wanted her to come more than anything.

Rosetta wanted to see him badly. She hadn't worn her band that day, but then she was wearing a rather flowing shirt.
"That's okay. I'll be there soon, okay?" She told him. She cut the tour short and headed out to the facility, nervousness causing her to grip the steering wheel tight enough that her knuckles went white. She parked, went inside, and asked for Shaun. A moment later she was brought to him, the attendant closing the door behind them. It was a simple room with a window, a small table, and two chairs across from each other.
"Hey." She smiled shyly.

Shaun didn't think she would come, so when the attendant told him he had a visitor his stomach twisted nervously. He sat down in front of her, finding her as beautiful as ever.
"Hey..." he whispered.

If she hugged him he might feel the baby. It was so hard to resist though, seeing him. He looked so lonely that it nearly broke her right on the spot. She stepped forward and put her hand in his, squeezing gently.
"How are you holding up in here?" She asked.

Shaun shrugged his shoulders, taking her hand in both of his. He caressed her skin lightly, trying to memorize the way she felt.
"I'm alright..." he said. "I just haven't been sleeping much..."

"I wish you had called me sooner." She admitted, curling her fingers around his palm. "I thought when you left that...I don't know, I thought you would move and start over. I wouldn't have thought you would come here." She whispered.

Shaun shook his head.
"No...this has been on my mind for a while..." he whispered. "I just...never saw it through...I thought about telling you before Amon the Giant told you for me, but I was...I was worried. I don't like asking for help, clearly."

"Amon and I don't really talk anymore." She admitted. "He never mentioned it, if he had I would have come sooner." She brought her hand up to his face and cradled his cheek in her palm. "I know, I can tell." She smiled slightly, referring to him not asking for help. "I'm glad you called though."

Shaun leaned into her touch, his eyes fluttering closed. He placed his hand over hers, turning to kiss the inside of her palm.
"Me too..." he whispered.

Rosetta didn't think about it this time, stepping forward and wrapping her arms around him. She rested her left cheek against his shoulder, her face in his neck as she held him. She never should have left him. But she had been so worried that Amon would hurt him, and Amon wouldn't have left without her leaving too. Shaun was sick, but he couldn't help it. He was clearly making an effort to get better.
"I'm sorry." She whispered. "I should never have left you."

Shaun wrapped his arms around her, burying his face in her neck. He shook his head as she spoke not wanting to hear it.
"I don't blame you..." he whispered. "If I were you, I probably would have done the same thing."

Rosetta shook her head, her fingers digging into his back gently.
"I just...if I had stayed, Amon would never have left and I didn't want the police to take you away. I don't do very well without you." She whispered, tears welling.

Shaun pulled back softly to look at her. He wiped away her tears, kissing her forehead gently.
"It's done..." he whispered. "There's not much we can do about it now...just...I guess we try and move forward."

"About that-" She whispered, tipping her head back to look up at him. Just as she was about to tell him though, the baby kicked. She wasn't wearing her band, and she was so close to Shaun she wondered if he felt it too.

Shaun raised his eyebrows as she stopped. He did feel the kick, but he had forgotton about the nurse and what she said, and he never felt a baby kick before.
"Huh?" He said looking down.

Rosetta didn't know how he would react. She took his hand and slipped it under her shirt, pressing it against her skin. When the baby felt the push, he kicked against the spot. It was the equivalent to touching a cat hidden under a blanket.
"I'm pregnant." She whispered, as though that wasn't clear now. "I just started my seventh month."

Shaun let her guide his hand. His eyes widened as he felt the kicking, looking down at her bump. When she spoke he shook his head.
"What..." He was shocked, to say the least. "I don't really know what to say..."
